Puppy BTPS 1015 Year of release: 1971 Condition: Record: VG++ / Sleeve: VG++ There is one small pressing fault in the vinyl on side 2 track 6 Current book value @ $2,000 UK magazine MOJO wrote in 1996 about this LP: "Brute Force was the guy who sold the Beatles the idea of release his song The King of Fuh on Apple. Said Derek Taylor: George had met him somewhere Brute had written a dificult song called The King Of Fuh and I gave him and Mrs. Force something to drink while we listened to this amazingly rude song about the Fuh King who did this and the Fuh King who did that, wondering how we would ever get EMI to relase such a work. They didn't, in fact. Offensive. So it was, though Mr. and Mrs. Force were polite enough. He was a man of great physical strength having solo swum the Bering Straits between the USA and the USSR. but APPLE pressed it privately; copies now retail for over £350. In New York, Brute Force worked on this album, tracks including King Fuh and The World Is Filled With So Much Bull Shit. Goldmine mag said no copy surfaced in the US. Eventually, a copy turned up at Notting Hill's Music and Video shop. Owned by Lord Lucan? Price: $ 1,750 Back to Top Rarities Info-page Back to Front Page
